Make a Statement With a Tile Pattern

Bathroom

Making a statement with tile pattern can be easier than you think. We can use a more creative floor covering, simply by using just tiles. Even in a historic home bathroom – this photo has taken my breath away a time or two before. A simple “subway” tile with a bit of twist on how it was installed creates a bit of interest.

Herringbone Tile Pattern

{Seen ABOVE} We are seeing a lot of this design being showcased on our clients bathroom backsplash and shower walls. This innovative pattern gives your tile choice flare. The kitchen backsplash is another location where it’s a big hit! Keeping a traditional tile, like the subway seen here, gives it simplicity and the design gives interest. A wonderful combination when remodeling and not wanting something that is a fad to have to be redone in a few years to come.

Choosing a tile you absolutely love can be spiced up just by the way you have our skilled craftsmen lay it. Here I chose to focus on the top two tile pattern layouts we have been installing and are unquestionably here to stay! Herringbon and secondly using a shaped tile, like a hexagon.

Hexagon Tile Pattern

Kitchen and bathroom floors are being “hexed” by the minute. It may have something to do with the compatibility it seems to have with all styles of interiors. Whether it’s classic, farmhouse, or even modern.
