Next Project

The objective of this project was to transform an un nished attic into a functional bonus room and bathroom. The design integrates a living area, bathroom, and built-in bunk beds, optimizing the attic's layout. New walls, roof collars, plates, and bunk beds were structurally built into the framing.

The design maximizes space with built-in bunk beds and a multifunctional living area, including an entertainment center, sectional couch, and arcade space. Each element ensures easy access and functionality while maintaining a spacious feel.

Creatively, the project utilizes built-in bunk beds with integrated lighting and outlets, blending modern and classic elements like oil-rubbed bronze hardware and aged brass fixtures. Skylights and large windows enhance natural lighting.

One signi cant challenge was integrating modern amenities into the attic's existing structure without compromising its integrity. The project required careful coordination with various specialists to address issues such as HVAC relocation, electrical wiring, and plumbing. The clients desired a versatile bonus room for entertainment, relaxation, and accommodation. The design meets these needs, providing ample storage and functional spaces, with choices made in consultation with the clients.

The attic's transformation signi cantly enhanced the home's value and functionality, creating a stylish area for family activities and guest accommodation, making it a standout feature.
