The CQC Remodeling Experience
RemodelAt CQC Home, we strictly follow industry standards when performing design-build projects. We know how much satisfaction can come from a successful remodel. We also know how much can go wrong if the process is not managed correctly. Possibly, it is our passion that distinguishes us from our competitors in Durham, Cary, Apex, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill.
Our customer service remains a priority throughout the remodeling process, from the moment we start working upon conceptualization to completion. It also helps our clients to be more comfortable and relaxed.
As a client, you’ll receive:

Consultation is very important to us. During this phase, we sit down with you to understand the scope of your project. We’ll talk about multiple things during the consultation.
Here are a few:
- Design strategy
- Timeline
- Goals and expectations
- Estimates Budgets
- Our process Overview
The following are the most critical questions a designer has to ask before starting a project. We’ve noticed some clients might need help deciding on some of these. So we can help you out and educate you so you can get to the design part.
Design & Product Picking Process
Here’s where the fun starts in CQC renovations. We use the most modern and effective methods to provide our clients with the best design experience. To make high-quality 3D renderings of the project, we’re using Chief Architect Design and 2020 software.
You can figure out everything you need to know about your project with elevations, floor plans, and permit drawings. The info on the front end helps all parties know what’s going to happen and what to expect.
The next step involves visiting our lovely showroom and working with local vendors to locate the appropriate tiles, stone, fixtures, and appliances for your home. It may seem like a challenging task, but our designers will guide you in making informed decisions appropriate to your situation.
Explanation of Scope and Contract
We will develop an extensive scope of work for our activities during construction. We will provide detailed diagrams, product placements, plumbing, electrical plans, and a clear idea of what we will be doing. Throughout your remodel, these specifications and directions will be detailed line by line, so you will know what needs to be done.
We’ll give you a detailed estimate of your total cost and a payment schedule. In addition to the project selection documents, the warranty and waivers will be signed. These things help you in the long term.
Construction Experience
It is where many people get anxious about their homes under construction. We understand that this can be a stressful time, but we are here to help you. Our experience in design and construction will minimize the impact of our work on your daily routine.
We have been very particular in ensuring that all of our vendors and installers are on the same page. We’ll analyze and use all the data we’ve gathered since the beginning to help us make decisions and achieve our goals! The project will begin once you are ready to get started.
We’ve developed great relationships with all of the county and city leaders. The whole process takes 4-6 weeks. All your selections and products will be in our warehouses before construction starts.
Our estimators, electricians, interior designers, and project managers will coordinate before starting construction for all details. We also tell you to avoid possible damage, you’ll need to remove pictures or wall decor and items from the cabinets.
Focus on High Quality
Once everything’s ready, we’ll protect the flooring and furniture. Construction and demolition can be quite messy. But we’ll try not to interfere with your everyday life. Our team will work hard to be mindful of meeting requirements and plan for the project to guarantee minimal disruption.
An experienced CQC Home Project Director will answer all questions and keep you informed. Please note that as a customer, we want you to have confidence in the process and expect the project to be completed on time. We’ll clean it completely and get it ready for you when you move in.
