I am a North Carolina native who enjoys our beautiful state from the mountains to the sea; the Outer Banks in particular will always be one of my favorite places to be. I am from Shelby, NC and moved to Raleigh to attend NC State University (GO PACK!!!). There I studied architecture at the College of Design; this was my introduction to the industry and what began my path that would lead me to CQC. I grew up coming to Durham to visit my Grandmother, and am now proud to call it my home. With CQC, I am happy to have the opportunity to work with people who are both skilled and dedicated to their work. These things in combination create great end results. I started the company as a carpenter’s helper. Working alongside a true craftsman I have grown and taken on new responsibilities. Similarly with that growth, I continue to self educate and grow within my team, now as a lead superintendent. I hope to continually grow and prosper in this positive work environment. Off the clock I enjoy playing disk golf, mountain biking, running, longboarding, playing with the dog, a little amateur woodworking, and exploring the fun and unique urban network that is our beautiful city. My wife and I have previously lived outside of Asheville in the mountains; however, despite our love for the mountains and the tranquility they can provide, we have found ourselves to be “townies” at heart. Living and working in a thriving community greatly improves quality of life for us.
