Carpenter ApprenticeI’m originally from Mobile, Alabama. I moved to North Carolina at a very young age to live with my father and grandmother, when my mother passed away. I spent most of my life in Rocky Mount with my family. In 2012 I moved to Durham to attend the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham . I fell in love with the “bull city” during college and now me and all my pets call it home.Although I have some construction experience, CQC is the first construction company I’ve been an official employee of. It is also easily the best company I’ve ever worked for. Every team member is friendly, creative, and professional. It’s very refreshing to be excited about work every day. CQC always goes above and beyond for their customers and the quality of their work never ceases to amaze me. It brings me joy to be a part of such a talented team , I hope to learn as much as I can from my peers and to do my best to help push this company forward. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time writing and illustrating for a comic book I am creating. I also spend alot of my free time playing video games and raising my 7 pets …. yes you read that correctly. Music is another major interest of mine, I like to collect vinyls and make music with my friends. Eating is probably the thing I’m best at and it’s easily my favorite thing to do; so tell please tell me about all of best food spots. In the short time that I’ve been with CQC, they’ve done a lot to make me feel like I was a part of a diverse and growing family . It is one of the first jobs I have had where I engage with the CEO daily and he actually seems interested in my life and helping me improve it. I am very grateful to be a part of such a warm family of talented individuals and I hope you consider CQC for your next big project so you can join the family to.
