Mid-Century Home Gets Accessible Renovation

Built in 1940, this 3-bed, 1-bath home needed to be taken down to the studs due to water damage. They needed a walk-in shower with wheel chair access. The third little bedroom was converted into a master closet. Kitchen — an addition to the home — has a side room (enclosed porch) making it part of the house. New cabinets, new floors, counters, sink, faucet and lighting. The main objective was to open up access for wheel chair access as well as for the homeowner to be able to help with the kitchen duties.
