New Build Farmhouse Kitchen in Durham

The kitchen provided a unique challenge. We were starting from scratch with an entirely new addition but wanted to ensure that we kept the feel of the farmhouse. The homeowner helped shape the space with black semi-custom cabinets, commercial-grade appliances, quartz counter-tops coupled with reclaimed heart pine hardwoods from an 1850 grain silo. Reclaimed poplar was reused from the old barns on the property to build the range hood cover, shelving above the desk area, and beams. As you can see the look is new and fresh, yet conveys the farmhouse aesthetic.
