Master Bathroom Renovation Ideas for Hope Valley
Bathroom Ideas – When the layout is not the problem.
A beautiful home in Hope Valley Durham had just under gone a major renovation. We tore down walls and recreated a new kitchen design that was functional for the whole family. But, the master bathroom was not quite right. The homeowner’s reached out to our design team needing bathroom ideas that expanded the shower area, but not necessarily changing the entire layout.
In the existing layout, the vanity was awkward. We consolidated the vanity into one area, creating a cohesive double vanity. By moving the “extra” vanity from the shower side of the bathroom, this created a large amount of un-used floor space. We pushed the shower walls as far as we could. This allowed for a large bench seat and dual shower heads. Something that was important to keep in the original floor plan was the tub. We swapped the deck style tub for a free standing tub. This created a more stream line open feel. Using lighter colors it keeps the space bright and airy.
We didn’t have to change a lot to be an effective and dramatic difference for the homeowner’s to fall in love with the space all over again.
We had a large job done by CQC and it was amazing! Like any large project on a 35 year old home there were surprises and hiccups but the team managed them seamlessly. The work done by Shawn, Justin, Wes was amazing, they are true craftsmen. The design team and support team were awesome to work with.
