Master Bathroom Refresh in Hillsborough

What is a Bathroom Refresh?

For our bathroom refresh, we typically include leaving the main components. Such as, the vanity and major plumbing fixtures in the same location. The homeowner was getting ready to give this space a quick refresh. But, in the process of working with our design team, we all decided to fix some of the practical items that were getting in the way of functionality as well.

The Process

We swapped out a standard door for a pocket door, saving some floor space, to the water closet. We also enlarged the shower area. This helped allow enough space for a fold down teak bench seat. With these few minor updates we were ready to change all of the surfaces for new materials. Giving this master bathroom fresh new life. Using the existing cabinetry, we replaced the counter surface with new quartz. We provided new sinks and faucet fixtures. We installed all new tile on the main floor, shower area, and the tub surround. Also, our design incorporated using the same countertop material on all of the horizontal surfaces; like the shower threshold and shower niche. This really helped tie the two spaces together.
