Master Bathroom Designed for Accessibility
Updating a bathroom can be such a wonderful process. Thinking of all the different aspects, from colors to textures, and mingling those with the functionality of the space. This bathroom added another level of necessary tweaking. It not only needed to be pleasing to the eye, but core to its function was accessibility and ease of use. We were able to accomplish this by using dual teak seats. These seats are designed with a flip-down feature. This creates a large walk-in shower with benches at either end for washing and drying off which are easily tucked away when not needed. We also incorporated a dual shower head with a hand-wand feature. Again, keeping in mind ease of use. With a beach getaway as our color inspiration, we chose tiles and a countertop to coordinate together for dreaming of the next vacation getaway.
