Kitchen Renovation on Parkwood Lake

Parkwood Lake

Kitchen Renovation

With a stunning view of Parkwood Lake in the backyard, how could anyone not want to see it from every room. For this kitchen renovation project, that was the exact goal our design team set out to achieve. We had essentially three rooms and a foyer entry area on the main level of the home. The homeowner’s wanted to be able to see the view from the living room, kitchen, and dining space. The rooms were divided with a supporting load bearing wall. We were able to install an LVL beam to carry to the load. This allowed for us to really open the space up. Combining all of the rooms into one space.

CQC installed new flooring on the main floor, therefore opening up all the walls and using a coordinating kitchen island we were able to tie the spaces all together. Above all, to look as if it always belonged. We updated the lighting floor plan to add new pendants to the space. In addition to installing new floors and a fresh coat of paint, we also updated the powder bathroom on the main floor. After all that, it looks like a brand new house!
