Classic Master Bathroom Design to Build

This charming 1930’s home, nestled in the center of Watts Hillandale, needed another bathroom. Typical for that period, a master en suite bathroom was not part of the standard construction of homes. Thankfully the master bedroom was large enough to accommodate the new bathroom plans we were proposing. A few obstacles that we had to work with to help keep costs lower were to keep the existing windows and exterior materials in the same location.

The Process

We designed the new bathroom from design to build; to include a larger closet area, working around the existing windows of course. This meant a nice bright closet space with custom built-ins were required. One of the main goals for the bathroom plan was to include a large shower. Our designer was able to maximize the shower space, utilizing a large single vanity instead of the traditional double vanity option. This helped with the configuration to include all of the bells and whistles as well.
