Master Bathroom Refresh

Our design process for master bathrooms, has a few moving parts to schedule. We start with an initial home consultation for the measure of the space. From this set of existing condition plans, we can offer a couple of different layout options. That leads into our “red-line” meeting, to confirm the final version of plans. We wrap up with a selections meeting. Using all of the selections we pick out together, we can provide a 3D rendering of the new space.

The homeowner’s for this master bathroom remodel, in Hope Valley Farms, wanted to capture some of the unused space that was being taken up with a large garden tub. It had a shower that felt more like a coffin. With the new design layout, we used a large walk-in shower complete with a bench both inside and out for ease of use.

We are excited how well this space flows together and the practicality. A challenge was how to create a large shower where the garden tub once was, that still provided storage options. Our design team used both cabinetry on the vanity counter as well as created a bench seat outside the shower to provide more linen storage. What was once an unusable space, is now open with clean lines with lots of accessible storage options.

Space Remodeled: 105 square feet
