Raleigh Home Remodelers Tour 2019
RepairsIf you’re looking to remodel a space in your home – or even your whole house – you should check out the Remodelers Home Tour in Raleigh, NC. This tour takes place over the course of two days, from Saturday, April 27 to Sunday, April 28. On Saturday, the tour is from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Sunday the tour is from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. There are thirteen houses on the tour with the majority of houses located in Raleigh, but there are three in Apex and one in Cary. Each of the houses specifies the space they remodeled or if the entire home was remodeled. The Remodelers Home Tour is a great opportunity to explore different remodeling projects and find inspiration for your home upgrades. CQC Home is dedicated to helping you create the home or space of your dreams, and we have expertise in remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and sunrooms, as well as whole house remodels. Take a look at some of the remodeling examples on the tour and contact CQC Home today to get started on your vision.
Typically, a whole house remodel adds features like new custom cabinets, vaulted ceilings, and extra storage room. With a whole house remodel, you have the opportunity to create your dream house with the structure of your current house. You can knock out a few walls and create an open floor plan and make the space even larger by vaulting the ceilings, like the home at our top to bottom modern makeover in a traditional Chapel Hill home. We took out six walls to produce an open and flowing concept and added a pergola to add more space outside. Windows and light fixtures were added to the basement apartment to brighten the space and we also upgraded the appliances to be energy efficient.
Not every house needs a total makeover – sometimes you just need one room to be upgraded. Especially in the South, a sunroom or screened porch is a necessity to survive the humid summers. For sunrooms, it’s important to include the option of letting the sun in as well as keeping the sun out with blinds. In one of our sunroom additions, we add custom blinds as well as a brushed nickel ceiling fan to give the family more control over the temperature in the room, especially during extreme temperature months.
A kitchen can be completely transformed with an accent piece, like a farmhouse sink. We remodeled a traditional kitchen to include a nickel-plated, textured farmhouse sink that brought the grey backsplash and white and grey countertops together beautifully. It took the kitchen from traditional to modern with one stellar accent piece.
